These elegant boho-style necklaces feature a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above an oval deep blue lapiz lazuli stone embedded in black macrame waxed thread.  Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional ceremonies.  The necklace was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years.

This necklace features a large oval stone (3/4" wide by 1 1/4" tall) pendant below a medium ayahuasca piece (3/4" diameter) adorned with a translucent stone and a pair of woven leaves representing the ayahuasca plant.  The waxed twine has two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
